Susan Holmes is an American model, television personality, and swimsuit designer. She founded Susan Holmes Swimwear, of which she is the public face. She is 5′10″.

Susan is married to musician Duff McKagan, with whom she has two children.

Susan’s paternal grandfather was Clifford John Holmes (the son of John Randall Holmes and Margaret Hines). Clifford was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. John was born in Neville, Washington Township, Clermont, Ohio, the son of Robert Holmes, who was Irish; and of Mary Ann Downs, who had deep roots in the U.S. Margaret was born in Cincinnati, the daughter of Lawrence Hines, who was Irish; and of Mary Manning, whose parents were also Irish.

Susan’s paternal grandmother was Susan Margaret Eckhardt (the daughter of Joseph Eckhardt and Juliana Raible). Susan’s gradmother Susan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joseph was a German immigrant, the son of Adam Eckhardt and Teresa Jacob. Juliana was born in Cincinnati, and was also the daughter of German immigrants, Christian Raible and Josephine Bettinger.

Susan’s maternal grandfather was Frank John Drogosch (the son of John Drogosch and Amalie “Molly” Beirowski). Frank was born in Detroit, Michigan. Susan’s great-grandfather John was born in Detroit, the son of emigrants from the German Empire, August John Drogosch, who likely had Polish ancestry; and Susanna Louisa Christina Elwardt. Susan’s great-grandmother Amalie was born in Danzig, the daughter of ethnic Polish parents, Joseph Beirowski and Albertine Kroiczewski, who was from Karthaus, then Prussia, the German Empire.

Susan’s maternal grandmother was Nellie Lillian Witkowski (the daughter of Anton W. “Anthony” Witkowski and Magdalena Sesnauskuite). Nellie was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Lithuanian parents. Anton was born in Kaunas.
